I recently hired The Desert Table for a forty person cocktail party at my home, and they executed the event flawlessly. Megan is a delight to work with. I was somewhat lost on what I wanted, but Megan had some fantastic “modern cuisine” suggestions for the menu, and she professionally handled every detail so that I could thoroughly enjoy my own party. The food was delicious and wonderfully presented—I received many compliments. Their bartender, Dillon, was excellent as well. It all added up to a perfect, stress free, relaxing evening. I cannot recommend The Desert Table more highly.

We had The Desert Table come out to Pioneertown to cater my brothers 40th Birthday and they absolutely were over the top with the food and attention to detail. Megan is passionate about what she does and it shows in her work. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Chef Megan, founder of the Desert Table, came highly recommended by a Palm Springs local when we asked her for advice as we planned our best friends' bachelorette party recently. The person who recommended Megan owns a high end events and production business, so we knew that Megan would be great- but even our expectations were surpassed once we experienced Megan's cooking and professionalism. From the moment that we were connected with Megan, she was very responsive and easy to work with. She provided us with an array of tasty menu options to choose from, and helped guide our decision making based on dietary restrictions and other preferences. Over the course of the four day weekend, Megan came to cook two lunches for us and a dinner, and after the first meal, we couldn't wait for her to come back! Each meal was delicious, thoughtful, and beautifully presented. Megan even painted on each of the menus she created to showcase each meal! 10/10 recommendation for Megan and the Desert Table- you won’t be disappointed in the least!

I feel compelled to write a testimonial for this truly fantastic personal chef. On top of being personable and exceptionally organized, the meal that she and her husband Blake prepared for our group of ten was singularly the best meal that we’ve ever eaten in Palm Springs. Restaurants are great, but can’t hold a candle to the quality of the ingredients and the special presentation. It was a good reminder that there are other options than cooking at home or dining out. Thanks Megan and Blake! Already looking forward to next time!!!

The Desert Table catered my private VIP retreat dinner in JT and was amazing from preplanning to execution. Megan was so helpful and responsive to every question I had, and her attention to detail just exquisite. The menu was absolutely beyond delicious, and the food presentation was stunning. She was such a delight to have in the home, and my guests loved her! I can’t wait to hire her again for my next event! ✨

I hosted my bachelorette weekend in Palm Springs and wanted to find a chef that could not only make an amazing meal but would be able to serve dishes that would fit our theme. The second I found Megan on instagram I reached out. When I tell you that every single dish was incredible and well thought out, I truly mean it. As someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen and normally hosting others, I was truly impressed with Megan’s skills. She creates such a fun environment, everything was well curated and the girls raved about every single dish. I can’t wait to go back to hire her again. She truly deserves every 5 star review she has.

We recently worked with The Desert Table to host a dinner for a bachelorette party in Palm Springs, and this dinner was truly the highlight of our entire weekend! We were immediately impressed when we first reached out to Megan - her menu options were much more expansive and upscale than other options we were reviewing for similar prices. She was extremely easy to communicate with, both via email and text, in the weeks leading up to the dinner and on the day of. And the food was AMAZING! It was beyond delicious, beautifully plated and well timed. She created a beautiful menu to put on the table that fit our theme and worked with us to figure out the best way to serve our “nibble board” as we did a champagne toast. Everyone was so impressed! If you are looking for a private chef in the Palm Springs area - look no more! Megan and the Desert Table are the way to go.

Chef Megan made my birthday dinner an unforgettable experience! She cooked an incredible meal for 14 guests, and every dish was nothing short of amazing—delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. The highlights of the evening were the exquisite crudo, which was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the olive oil citrus cake with cardamom whipped cream—a stunning finale that had everyone raving. Beyond her culinary talent, Megan was an absolute joy to work with. She was easygoing, fun, and genuinely excited about bringing the meal to life, which made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I would absolutely work with her again and sincerely hope to do so in the future. If you’re looking for a chef who brings both skill and enthusiasm to the table, Megan is the one!

We first met Chef Megan at a birthday dinner party she catered for a friend of ours. We were so impressed with the food, presentation and service that we hired the Desert Table for our retirement dinner party for 30 in our home. The whole experience was a dream come true- all the communications were timely and so helpful. I was nervous about the size of the dinner party, but my anxiety disappeared after Chef Megan and her team arrived at our home. They were so organized and prepared. The whole dinner party was so well done. The food was amazing - my guests are still talking about the miso black cod and the steak. We had several dinners in fine dining restaurants that long weekend. Many of my guests commented that the best meal they had in Palm Springs was at our house! I highly recommend Chef Megan and the Desert Table. I will hire the again! Angie B
